GROUP TOUR – MAY 2024
This GROUP tour of maximum 10 people is ideal for people wishing to visit the South-East coast of the country and the bay of Samana, while optimising their budget… You will be able to share this journey with other people who have the same passion as you: TRAVEL and DISCOVERY.
This tour of the country includes travel by comfortable and air-conditioned van taxi with driver + your Tropical Evasion guide, luxury accommodation, meals and daily trips.
This tour will be offered only for 10 people maximum to offer a quality of service and create an atmosphere of conviviality!
DAY 1 – ARRIVAL AT SANTO DOMINGO AIRPORT
Upon arrival, your driver will take you to your accommodation located in the Bayahibe/Dominicus area where your Tropical Evasion representative will be waiting for you.
We have selected for you a luxury apartment residence, fully equipped, with a residential swimming pool.
Welcome dinner organized by us, feet in the sand!
DAY 2 – DAY ABOARD A LUXURY SAILBOAT – SAONA ISLAND
After your breakfast organized by us, take a seat aboard this comfortable catamaran and head for the island of SAONA.
Board the catamaran around 8:30 AM for an hour and a half of sailing to Saona Catuano, where divers can spot a wide range of tropical fish.
We will then head to the beach, where we will enjoy one of the most beautiful white sand beaches with turquoise waters in the Dominican Republic.
You can relax on sun loungers in the generous shade of coconut palms while sipping a small cocktail!
We will then sail to the natural pool of Las Palmillas, while having lunch on the boat.
The natural pool is a magical place with the clearest waters in the area and its famous giant starfish.
We will then return to Bayahibe, following the coast for an hour and a half, returning at 5pm
Full day excursion from 9am to 5pm / meal and drinks included.

DAY 3 – HALF DAY TO PADRE NUESTRO NATIONAL PARK
Breakfast before the tour organized by us.
After breakfast, you will meet your local guide who will accompany you throughout the morning to discover the Padre Nuestro National Park.
You will start with a walk of about thirty minutes, in the heart of the national park, while your guide will give you information about the country, the trees of the national park…
When we arrive at the cave, we will lend you the necessary equipment to go swimming (mask/snorkel, lights…).
Be careful, refreshing swim guaranteed!!
In the middle of the day, you will go for lunch at a small Dominican restaurant in Bayahibe and finally return to your accommodation.
Relaxing afternoon where you can decide to enjoy the setting of your accommodation or go on foot to the beach of Dominicus.
Diner organized by us in a typical local restaurant!
DAY 4 – SMALL GROUP SUNSET BUGGY TOUR
In the morning, meet near your hotel residence at 8:30 a.m. for breakfast.
For lunch we will take you to the village of Bayahibe for a Dominican meal. Your Safari Truck and your guide will pick you up directly at the restaurant…
Let’s go for a day full of discoveries in the hinterland, in a small group.
The whole afternoon will be dedicated to drive your machines through the sugar cane fields… We will start with the buggies and then continue with the Quads.
Several stops along the way:
- The weigh, where your guide will explain the working conditions and make you taste sugar cane.
- Batey: a small village of cane cutters
- Chavon River for a swim
- A visit to a country house where you will taste local products and seasonal fruits.
You will then spend the evening on a platform boat on the Chavon River…
You will have a lot of fun at night: swimming, Tarzan jumping, aperitif and a very good Dominican meal to gain strength before the little dance party, where your guides will teach you some basics of local dances!
The return to your accommodation is expected around 10 p.m.
DAY 5 – DEPARTURE FROM SANTO DOMINGO
Today you will meet your guide who will follow you for the rest of the trip!
After your breakfast organized by us, you will leave to go to the main city of the country: SANTO DOMINGO.
Here many visits will be proposed by your English-speaking guide: cave of the 3 Ojos National Park, colonial zone … You will discover all the history of the Dominican Republic!
The typical lunch will be served in a restaurant in the colonial place.
After the meal, free time will be offered in the shopping area of Santo Domingo.
At around 3 p.m., you will take the road to Las Terrenas and discover your new comfortable accommodation.
Dinner included at the hotel’s restaurant.
DAY 6 – LOS HAITISES NATIONAL PARK
Departure around 8am from your hotel, after your breakfast, direction Sanchez, where you will take a boat to discover the largest national park in the Dominican Republic!
You will discover breathtaking landscapes, abundant fauna and flora and caves testifying to the passage of the first inhabitants, the Tainos.
After a morning full of discovery, you will be taken to a small local restaurant, before taking the road back to las Terrenas.
Return to your hotel is scheduled around 4pm

DAY 7- PLAYA FRONTON
After breakfast, your driver will take you to LAS GALERAS, at the end of the North Coast, for a day of discovering beaches, each more beautiful than the last!
Once in the village, you will meet your local guide to reach Playa Fronton, only accessible by boat… An incredible setting, a white sand beach surrounded by huge cliffs and a coral reef where you can do a snorkeling session…
After a morning enjoying Playa Fronton and Playa Madame, you will depart for Playa Rincon where you will be served a meal…
Once the meal is over, you can choose to take a little nap under the coconut trees or go for a walk along the beach…
We will then take you to your new accommodation where your dinner is arranged.
DAY 8 – PLAYA ERMITANO
Today you will set off again by boat to discover one of the most beautiful beaches in the Dominican Republic, still protected from mass tourism… Playa Ermitano.
A breathtaking setting, corals each more beautiful than the last…
As you explore, your guide will prepare a meal of freshly caught fish…
After lunch, head to PUERTO ESCONDIDO, a hidden cove where you will spend the rest of the day.
Return to your accommodation around 5pm.
Evening meal provided by us.
DAY 9 – EL VALLE
For this last day, we will go to El Valle, located in the heights of Samana… A village by the sea, lost in the middle of the vegetation.
Sunday relaxation where we planned an hour of bachata class and a typical Dominican meal.
Free afternoon where you can enjoy the wild beach of El Valle.
At night, you will stay in nature-friendly apartments, very typical, right in the middle of the El Valle forest.
Your dinner is organized with the establishment.
