This PRIVATE tour is ideal for people in good physical health wishing to discover the country in an original and unique way!
Difficulty level: medium
This program is offered on 10 / 15 or 18 days but is modifiable according to your needs.
The following program below is an example of a 15 days itinerary.
DAY 1 – ARRIVAL AT YOUR AIRPORT
Upon arrival, your driver will take you to your accommodation located in the Bayahibe/Dominicus area, with private beach access.
DAY 2 – PADRE NUESTRO NATIONAL PARK
Your guide will pick you up from your hotel in the morning towards Padre Nuestro National Park.
You’ll start your private tour with a 30-minute walking tour, during which your guide will explain the history of the country’s first inhabitants.
After this short walk, you will be eager to swim in the crystal clear and refreshing waters of chicho cave!
All the necessary equipment will be provided by your guide (lamps, fins/mask and snorkel)
You will end your half-day with a typical Dominican lunch in the village of Bayahibe.
Free afternoon during which you can enjoy the private beach of your place of residence!
DAY 3 – DAY ABOARD A LUXURY SAILBOAT
Take a seat aboard this comfortable catamaran, direction the island of Saona or Catalina.
Destination subject to availability.
Full day trip from 9am to 5pm / meals and drinks included.

DAY 4 – BUGGY DAY
Lunch before excursion organized by us
Our safari truck will pick you up in Bayahibe around 1.30pm and take you to the hinterland to discover the sugar cane fields.
On board your cars, you will discover the history of sugar cane in the Dominican Republic, meet cane cutters and their children, meet the locals…
At the end of the afternoon we will board on a boat from the Chavon River to spend the rest of the evening: aperitif, swimming, dinner and a few dance steps to finish the evening …
DAY 5 – DEPARTURE SANTO DOMINGO
After your breakfast organized by us in the village of Bayahibe, you will leave for the Barcelo rum factory, where the manufacturing process and the history of rum will be explained to you!
Then leave for the capital: here many visits will be proposed by your English-speaking guide: cave of the national park 3 Ojos, colonial zone … You will discover all the history of the Dominican Republic!
The typical lunch will be served in a restaurant in the colonial zone.
After the meal, you will be offered free time in the shopping area of Santo Domingo.
Around 4pm, your driver will take you to Jarabacoa, where you will spend the night.
DAY 6 – JARABACOA
This morning, adrenaline guaranteed with half a day of paragliding.
Accompanied by your instructor certified for more than 10 years, you will have the chance to discover the mountains of Jarabacoa, seen from the sky!!!
After your walk in the air, it will be time to enjoy a well-deserved lunch!

DAY 7 – SANTIAGO DE LOS CABALLEROS
Discover a banana plantation located near the city of Santiago!
Your guide will teach you the processes of planting, processing and harvesting bananas that you find in your supermarkets!
You will meet the workers.
At the end of this vsit, a good lunch will be served on site.
In the early afternoon, you will leave for Punta Rucia in the North of the island…
DAY 8 – PRIVATE DAY IN CAYO ARENA AND PUNTA RUCIA
After your breakfast, your driver will take you to Punta Rucia, a village where you will board your speedboat towards Cayo Arena…
A paradise on earth, perched on a reef, that you will have time to explore during your snorkeling session with your guide.
Snorkeling, sunbathing, swimming… your pace will be ours!
Once finished, you will board your boat again to discover the mangroves of the area…
On the way back to Punta Rucia, a lobster lunch will be served… (*During the annual breeding season lobster will be replaced by other seafood)
After your meal you can enjoy the beach until late afternoon…
In the evening your driver will drive you back to your all-inclusive hotel in the Puerto Plata area
DAY 9 – DAMAJAGUA
Departure after your breakfast for 45 minutes drive for a half-day zip line and dive into the cool waterfalls of Damajagua.
You will meet your guide who will give you all the explanations as well as the necessary equipment and leave for about thirty minutes of walking through the lush forest that surrounds the waterfalls!
You will start with the zip line, in all 5 lines, floating bridges and a lot of fun!
Once the zipline course is over, you will start your descent through the 7 waterfalls… jumps, dives, natural slides… you will enjoy this incredible place created by nature…
On your return, you will have well deserved a good meal… in the restaurant, a typical Dominican buffet will be served…
In the middle of the afternoon, it will be time to return to your all-inclusive hotel, where you can enjoy the various facilities and services on offer!
DAY 10 – PUERTO PLATA
Today appointment with our local guide for the visit of the city of Puerto Plata which is located close to the most important amber deposits, you will not fail to start your visit with the famous Amber Museum of the city.
Then go on a tour of the colonial zone and the important places of the city…
After your meal, you will board the cable car to go to the top of Mount Isabel which rises to 800 meters above sea level.
At the end of the afternoon, your driver will accompany you to your new hotel, located in Cabarete, 1 hour drive away… for a night for a night filled with stars!
DAY 11 – PRIVATE DAY RIO PARTIDO
Discover one of the most turquoise river in the Dominican Republic!
Departure around 8am for a spectacular half day!
You will start the adventure aboard a 4X4, for about thirty minutes, to access the closest to the river. You will finish walking for about twenty minutes.
At your destination, you will be surprised by the color and vegetation of the surroundings…
Diving and swimming in the cool waters of the Rio Partido will be on the program.
You will end the half day with a Dominican lunch before starting the road to Las Terrenas!
Dinner in your new accommodation is included by us.
DAY 12 – LOS HAITISES NATIONAL PARK
Departure around 8am from your hotel, direction Sanchez, where you will take a seat on a boat to discover the largest national park in the Dominican Republic!
You will discover breathtaking landscapes, abundant fauna and flora and caves testifying to the passage of the first inhabitants the Tainos.
After a morning full of discovery you will be driven to a small local restaurant, before taking the road to las Terrenas
The return to your hotel is scheduled around 4pm.

DAY 13 – ZIP LINE SAMANA BAY
The largest zip line in the Dominican Republic in the bay of Samana… El Valle!
A total of 12 cables, some of which are more than 300 meters long!
Discover the vegetation seen from the sky!!
After your adrenaline-filled descent you will head to el Valle beach, a deserted beach away from the tourist crowds, to enjoy a fish or lobster with your feet in the water!

At the end of the day you will head to your hotel in the middle of the forest!

DAY 14 – COCOA ROUTE
Private discovery day!
This morning you will go hiking to discover the Cocoa Route…
You will meet the locals, taste typical products (coffee, chocolate and coconut bread)…
To end the morning, you will enjoy a swim in one of the local waterfalls.
Relaxing afternoon at the huge beach of El Valle (lunch not included)
