DAY 1 – ARRIVAL AT THE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

Welcome to the Dominican Republic, a Caribbean gem known for its white sandy beaches, swaying coconut palms, and tropical climate. Upon arrival at the international airport, your private driver will take you directly to your accommodation in the Bayahibe/Dominicus area, nestled between the seaside and lush tropical gardens.

Settle in and relax, and depending on your flight schedule, enjoy a delicious dinner on site to gently begin your tailor-made journey. Let the soothing sounds of merengue, the gentle tropical trade winds, and the promise of a vacation filled with nature, relaxation, and paradise beaches welcome you.

DAY 2 – SAONA ISLAND CATAMARAN TOUR

Set sail for an unforgettable day aboard a comfortable catamaran to the breathtaking Saona Island, a true Caribbean paradise.

After breakfast at your hotel, depart around 9 AM for an exclusive catamaran excursion to Saona Island. Enjoy an intimate small-group experience on a spacious, shaded sailing vessel, far from the crowds.

Glide through turquoise waters under sail, snorkel over vibrant coral reefs, swim in a natural pool filled with starfish, and relax on a secluded beach reserved just for your group — discovering Saona Island as few do.

Savor a fresh lunch and refreshing drinks served on board, all while soaking in the relaxed Caribbean sea atmosphere. Return is scheduled around 5 PM.

In the evening, enjoy a dinner organized at a local restaurant near your accommodation.

DAY 3 – SUGAR CANE FIELDS AND RIVER CHAVÓN ADVENTURE

Depending on availability during your stay, hop aboard your buggy or safari truck for an exciting full-day exploration of the Dominican countryside and its iconic sugar cane fields.

On this immersive tour, you’ll meet local villagers, learn about the history and cultivation of sugar cane, and discover the famous Chavón River — renowned for its stunning scenery and as a backdrop for numerous films.

Experience authentic rural life and breathtaking landscapes far from the usual tourist paths.

DAY 4 – EXPLORE HISTORIC SANTO DOMINGO

Early wake-up, check-out, and breakfast before departing at 8 AM with your guide to Santo Domingo, the historic capital of the Dominican Republic.

Accompanied by your English-speaking guide, begin your visit at the famous Los Tres Ojos National Park — a unique natural site featuring underground caves and freshwater lagoons. Continue to the UNESCO-listed Colonial Zone for a deep dive into Dominican history: stroll cobblestone streets, admire colonial buildings, visit the cathedral, and the House of Christopher Columbus.

Enjoy a traditional lunch in an authentic restaurant within the historic district.

In the afternoon, take the city’s cable car to admire panoramic views of the capital, then enjoy free time to browse local shops and boutiques. Later, check in at one of the finest hotels in the Colonial Zone. This elegant, historic setting offers a unique experience in the heart of the old city.

DAY 5 – JOURNEY TO BAHÍA DE LAS AGUILAS

After breakfast in the Colonial Zone, your private driver—who will accompany you for the rest of your trip—will pick you up at 8 AM from your hotel.

Head southwest to reach one of the most wild and pristine regions of the Dominican Republic: Bahía de las Águilas, a hidden gem of the Caribbean.

You’ll arrive around 1 PM, where a simple, authentic lunch will be waiting for you.

The afternoon is free—perfect to settle into your luxury glamping accommodation, nestled by the Caribbean Sea, blending comfort, nature, and tranquility. Enjoy deserted beaches, crystal-clear waters, and a well-deserved moment of relaxation in this exceptional environment.

Dinner will be arranged at a nearby restaurant, allowing you to end the day peacefully with your feet in the sand.

DAY 6 – VIP DAY AT BAHÍA DE LAS AGUILAS

This morning, enjoy your breakfast at your own pace, feet in the sand, in the peaceful and natural setting of your hotel overlooking the Caribbean Sea.

Around 10 AM, embark on a private speedboat excursion heading to Bahía de las Águilas, one of the most beautiful beaches in the Caribbean, accessible only by sea. This protected site, ranked among the country’s natural gems, offers a timeless spectacle: crystal-clear waters, pristine white sand, no constructions—just you, nature, and the infinite horizon.

At lunchtime, a seafood meal is served directly on the beach, VIP tropical style.

Spend the day as you wish: snorkeling, walking along the wild beach, swimming in a turquoise lagoon, or simply relaxing in a dreamlike setting.

At your convenience (until 5 PM max), your private captain will pick you up for a peaceful sail back to your ecolodge.

In the evening, we organize your dinner at the nearby restaurant.

DAY 7 – LAGO OVIEDO

Seasonal activity from January to June

After your breakfast and check-out, depart around 9 AM for an exceptional excursion in Jaragua National Park, discovering Lago Oviedo, the largest saltwater lagoon in the Dominican Republic.

Board a small boat to navigate the heart of this wild site made up of 24 islets, a natural refuge for many species. The first stop is Iguana Island, where these fascinating reptiles will come close to you. With fruit in hand, you can approach them for a unique photo opportunity.

The journey continues through the shallow, green waters of the lagoon for a birdwatching session, and if you visit between January and June, you will witness the magical presence of the spectacular flamingos. Outside this season, an alternative activity will be offered to discover the region’s natural wonders differently.

After about [duration] of exploration, a typical lunch will be served within the national park.

In the afternoon, head to the southwest coast to reach Barahona, where you will stay in a 3-star hotel.

DAY 8 – ARTISANAL COFFEE, LOCAL ENCOUNTER, AND SWIMMING AT LOS PATOS

This day takes you into the lush countryside of Barahona, around the unusual Polo Magnético area, where the laws of gravity seem to defy logic. It is here, in this fertile region, that you will visit a coffee plantation nestled in the mountains to discover traditional craftsmanship.

Accompanied by a local guide, you will visit a family-run artisan coffee factory. You will learn how to prepare your own organic coffee, from roasting to tasting, in a friendly and authentic atmosphere. This moment will also be an opportunity to engage with locals about their rural lifestyle, daily life, and deep connection to the land.

Lunch will be served in the heart of the village, in a simple and warm setting.

In the afternoon, head down to the coast for a refreshing break in the crystal-clear waters of Los Patos, one of the shortest rivers in the world, famous for its natural pools at the ocean’s edge.

Return to your hotel around 5:30 PM.

DAY 9 – DEPARTURE FOR SAINT-DOMINGO AIRPORT

Your final morning in the Dominican Republic… Enjoy a last breakfast by the sea or a peaceful walk along the beach.

Hotel check-out is scheduled at noon, but depending on your flight time, you can continue to enjoy the hotel’s facilities, including the pool. If your schedule allows, we can arrange lunch with the hotel before your departure.

Your private driver will take you to Las Américas International Airport in Saint-Domingue, approximately 3 hours’ drive away.
