GROUP TOUR – JUNE 2024
This GROUP tour of maximum 10 people is ideal for people who want to visit the SOUTHERN ROAD, while optimizing their budget… You will be able to share this trip with other people who have the same passion as you: TRAVEL and DISCOVERY.
This tour of the country includes travel by comfortable and air-conditioned van taxi with driver + your Tropical Evasion guide, luxury accommodation, meals and daily trips.
This tour will be offered only for 10 people maximum to offer a quality of service and create an atmosphere of conviviality!
DAY 1 – ARRIVAL AT SANTO DOMINGO AIRPORT
Upon arrival, your driver will take you to your accommodation located in the Bayahibe/Dominicus area where your Tropical Evasion representative will be waiting for you.
We have selected for you a luxury apartment residence, fully equipped, with a residential swimming pool.
Welcome dinner organized by us in a restaurant of Bayahibe.
DAY 2 – DAY ABOARD A LUXURY SAILBOAT – SAONA ISLAND
After your breakfast organized by us, take a seat aboard this comfortable catamaran and head for the island of SAONA.
Board the catamaran around 8:30 AM for an hour and a half of sailing to Saona Catuano, where divers can spot a wide range of tropical fish.
We will then head to the beach, where we will enjoy one of the most beautiful white sand beaches with turquoise waters in the Dominican Republic.
You can relax on sun loungers in the generous shade of coconut palms while sipping a small cocktail!
We will then sail to the natural pool of Las Palmillas, while having lunch on the boat.
The natural pool is a magical place with the clearest waters in the area and its famous giant starfish.
We will then return to Bayahibe, following the coast for an hour and a half, returning at 5pm
Full day excursion from 9am to 5pm / meal and drinks included.

DAY 3 – HINTERLAND SAFARI
Breakfast organized by us.
Take a seat aboard a safari truck to first discover the sugar cane fields and the locals. You’ll learn all about how cutters work and even get to taste the fresh cane!
Afterwards, you will discover a cigar factory before going to the local market in Higuey!
The meal will be served in a typical Dominican restaurant in the countryside.
You will then head to a boat on the Chavon River for a dancing aperitif!
Evening meal organized by us in a restaurant in the area.
DAY 4 – DEPARTURE FROM SANTO DOMINGO
Today you will meet your guide who will follow you for the rest of the trip!
After your breakfast organized by us, you will leave to go to the main city of the country: SANTO DOMINGO.
Here many visits will be proposed by your English-speaking guide: cave of the 3 Ojos National Park, colonial zone … You will discover all the history of the Dominican Republic!
The typical lunch will be served in a restaurant in the colonial place.
After the meal, free time will be offered in the shopping area of Santo Domingo.
In the middle of the afternoon, you will take the road towards Barahona and discover your new home.
Dinner included at the hotel’s restaurant.
DAY 5 – PRIVATE TOUR – BARAHONA
Departure around 8:30 am from your hotel, for a day full of discovery and unusual places!
The morning will be dedicated to the discovery of Larimar, this semi-precious stone of the region, known for its turquoise blue color.
You will visit the museum and a Larimar maker.
At mealtime, head to Los Patos, an incredible place where the river and the Caribbean Sea meet… A typical lunch will be served.
After enjoying a short swim in the cool waters of the river, we will leave for Villa Myriam, a seaside resort built around the river.
Return to your hotel is expected around 5pm

DAY 6- PRIVATE TOUR – LAGO OVIEDO
You didn’t think you’d see flamingos in the Dominican Republic… Today we’re going to prove you wrong!
After breakfast, head to Lake Oviedo, a nature reserve in Jaragua National Park, which has 23 small islands.
You will take a seat aboard small boats to sail to your 1st point of interest… Bird Island.
You will then depart for the Iguana Island where you will make a stop… A small, arid island where you can feed the iguanas with fruit.
Finally, get your cameras ready, we’ll meet the flamingos!
At the end of the tour we will have a short lunch break in the National Park, before taking the road towards Bahia de las Aguilas.
You’ll be settling into your new Caribbean beachfront accommodations!

DAY 7 – PRIVATE TOUR TO BAHIA DE LAS AGUILAS
If you wanted to be away from the tourist crowds, you couldn’t find anything better!
Go on a private excursion to discover Bahia de las Aguilas…
Departure at 10am with your Tropical Evasion guide.
Your captain will take you to a privileged area where you will benefit from umbrellas, chairs and a buffet just for you.
A lazy day on a paradisiacal beach, rest, sunbathing or snorkeling in search of small tropical fish or starfish, the choice is yours!
At around 4 p.m., your captain will take you back to your accommodation.
In the evening, dinner is provided in a local restaurant.
DAY 8 – DEPARTURE TO SANTO DOMINGO AIRPORT
