Personalized pick-up: your day begins in total peace of mind thanks to our private transfer service, which picks you up directly from your hotel or all-inclusive resort located in Bayahibe, Dominicus or La Romana. This early departure, around 8 a.m., allows you to fully enjoy your day without stress, in the comfort of an air-conditioned vehicle.
Our first stop takes you to one of the hidden gems of the Dominican Republic: the Cueva de las Maravillas. This spectacular natural cave, surrounded by light tropical vegetation, immerses you in the fascinating world of the Taínos, the first inhabitants of the island of Hispaniola. While exploring its underground galleries, you’ll discover ancient cave paintings several centuries old, enhanced by scenic lighting that highlights every detail of this unique cultural heritage.
Upon exiting the cave, a short detour is made to observe the iguanas, symbols of local wildlife. Roaming freely in a protected area, these impressive and peaceful reptiles offer a surprising encounter with the wild nature of this tropical destination still preserved from mass tourism.
Introduction to Water Skiing or Wakeboarding
After this cultural immersion, we’ll get back on the road for about 45 minutes to reach a landscaped body of water, nestled in a peaceful environment, perfect for water sports. This natural setting, away from crowds, offers a truly unique experience.
Once there, you’ll be introduced to water skiing or wakeboarding, depending on your preference. Each participant will have 15 to 20 minutes of practice, supervised by qualified professionals, to discover the thrill of gliding on water. Whether you’re a beginner or a thrill-seeker, this aquatic activity is ideal for a dynamic and fun moment in the heart of the Dominican Republic.
Far from tourist beaches, this area offers an original alternative to enjoy nautical activities in a calm and safe environment. After the effort, you’ll enjoy a delicious lunch, served on-site in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere — a perfect moment to exchange impressions and enjoy some quality time.

Can you choose between water skiing and wakeboarding?
Yes, when you do the activity, you can choose either one depending on what you feel like doing.
Water skiing is generally easier for getting out of the water, as the position is more stable at the start with two skis. However, it requires more physical effort once you are standing up, as each leg works separately.
Wakeboarding is a little more difficult to get up at the start, but becomes easier and more fluid once you are on the water, as both feet are fixed to a single board.
Our instructors will advise and assist you so that you can try it out in the best possible conditions, even if you are a complete beginner.
What should I bring for the excursion?
We recommend:
- Comfortable clothing and footwear for visiting the cave.
- A swimsuit and towel.
- Sunscreen and sunglasses.
- A change of dry clothes for after the activity.
- Everything else (water sports equipment, life jacket, skis, wakeboard) is provided.
