This private tour is a perfect option to discover the most beautiful beaches and rivers of the Dominican Republic!
Your program will take place in the four corners of the country: from Bayahibe, through Barahona, Punta Rucia and the region of las Terrenas / Las Galeras.
This tour is offered over a minimum period of 15 days between JULY and DECEMBER!

The example tour below is offered over a period of 18 days but is completely adjustable to a shorter period of stay.
DAY 1 – ARRIVAL AT YOUR AIRPORT
Upon arrival, your driver will take you to your accommodation located in the Bayahibe/Dominicus area, with private beach access.
DAY 2 – DAY ABOARD A LUXURY SAILBOAT
Take a seat aboard this comfortable catamaran, direction the island of Saona or Catalina.
Destination subject to availability.
Full day trip from 9am to 5pm / meals and drinks included.

DAY 3 – DAY TO DISCOVER THE SUGAR CANE FIELDS
Depending on availability during your stay, take a seat aboard your buggies or a safari truck, to discover the hinterland and its sugar cane fields.
On this full-day outing you will meet the locals, learn the history of the cane and you will have the opportunity to discover the famous Chavon River, very well known thanks to the many films that have been shot there!
* All meals of your day are taken into account
DAY 4 – ST DOMINGUE
Departure after your breakfast, head to the Barcelo rum factory, where the manufacturing process and the history of rum will be explained to you!
Then leave for the capital: here many visits will be proposed by your English-speaking guide: cave of the national park 3 Ojos, colonial zone … You will discover all the history of the Dominican Republic!
The typical lunch will be served in a restaurant in the colonial zone.
After the meal, you will be offered free time in the shopping area of Santo Domingo.
At the end of the day, your guide will accompany you to your hotel in the colonial zone.

DAY 5 – BARAHONA
After breakfast, your driver will take you to Barahona, located 2 hours drive from the capital.
Upon arrival, you will be picked up by your local guide for an afternoon filled with discovery and breathtaking scenery!
You will start by gaining strength during a typical meal at natural river pool.
This magical place offers many natural pools and waterfalls, fed by the San Rafael River, where you can cool off.
Then you will discover Los Patos another seaside place, between river and sea.
To end the day, you will discover a natural pool with sea views!
Your driver will then take you to your comfortable accommodation, nestled in the mountains, in the middle of the forest!

DAY 6 – ENRIQUILLO LAKE
After breakfast, your local guide will pick you up from your hotel to take you close to Baoruco National Park, at Lake Enriquillo, a 375-square-kilometer lake, the largest in the Caribbean.
This park, classified Biosphere by Unesco, arid, shelters iguanas, flamingos and the famous crocodiles … It reigns like a safari air!
You will leave for about 1 hour aboard a small motorized boat to observe crocodiles…
After your boat ride you can walk in the park and admire the many iguanas.
Then your guide will take you to Neiba for a typical lunch.
In the afternoon swimming in a natural pool of fresh water…
Return to your hotel in the late afternoon.

DAY 7 – BAHIA DE LAS AGUILAS
In the middle of the morning, leave for a 2-hour drive, direction your new accommodation in Bahia de las Aguilas… you will stay at the edge of the beach, in tent canvases, Robinson Crusoe style …
Enjoy a relaxing day at the beach… You will be surprised by the clarity of the water and its tranquility! You will feel like on the other side of the world!
You can enjoy some snorkeling if you wish (included) or canoeing (available at the diving center at an additional cost)

DAY 8 – BAHIA DE LAS AGUILAS BEACH
In the morning, you will leave wit a private boat in the bays of Bahia de Las Aguilas, a huge beach of turquoise blue water, where you will be installed your buffet, umbrella and sunbed.
You can enjoy these calm waters for snorkeling, we provide you with the necessary equipment (fins / mask and snorkel)
In the late afternoon, head to your new accommodation in the Barahona area overlooking the Caribbean Sea!

DAY 9 – LARIMAR MINE
After your breakfast, you will visit the mines of Larimar, this semi-precious stone, turquoise blue color, found only in the Dominican Republic!
Discover the green landscapes that surround the mines, the working conditions and the miners with whom you can exchange!
After the mines, you will go to the beach of Barahona, where the history of Larimar and its beliefs begins.
You can look for some stones that you will go to make at the workshop!
To end the day, your guide will accompany you to a typical restaurant.
After lunch, you will take the road towards the colonial zone of Santo Domingo.

DAY 10 – ON THE WAY TO PUNTA RUCIA
Departure after your breakfast for 3 hours drive, direction the Damajagua waterfalls for a zip line program and swimming in the fresh water waterfalls.
You will meet your guide who will give you all the explanations as well as the necessary equipment and leave for about thirty minutes of walking through the lush forest that surrounds the waterfalls!
You will start with the zip line, in all 5 lines, floating bridges and lots of fun!
Once the zip line course is over, you will start your descent through the 7 waterfalls. Jumps, dives, natural slides… You will enjoy this incredible place created by nature…
Then you will have a good meal in the local restaurant, a typical Dominican buffet will be served...
In the middle of the afternoon, it will be time to leave with your driver to your new destination – Punta Rucia.
You will sleep in comfortable bungalows by the beach!

DAY 11 – PRIVATE DAY IN CAYO ARENA AND PUNTA RUCIA
After your breakfast, your driver will take you 5 minutes from your accommodation where you will board your speed boat to Cayo Arena …
A paradise on earth, perched on a reef, that you will have time to explore during your snorkeling session with your guide (we ensure the loan of equipment)
Snorkeling, sunbathing, swimming… Your rhythm will be ours!
Once finished, you will board your boat again to discover the mangroves of the area…
On the way back to Punta Rucia, a lobster lunch will be served… (*During the annual breeding season the lobster will be replaced by other seafood)
After your meal you can enjoy the beach until late afternoon…
In the late afternoon you will reach your bungalow and its private beach.

DAY 12 – PUERTO PLATA
Today you will meet your local guide for the visit of the city of Puerto Plata which is located near the most important amber deposits, you will not fail to start your visit with the famous Amber Museum of the city.
Then go on a tour of the colonial zone and important places in the city…
After your meal, you will board the cable car to the top of Mount Isabel which rises to 800 meters above sea level.
In the late afternoon, your driver will accompany you to your new all-inclusive hotel, located on the coast of Puerto Plata!

DAY 13 – SEASIDES EXPERIENCE
Your local guide will be waiting for you on site for your pick-up, for a full day of discovery!
Go to Rio San Juan, to join your motorboat with which you will discover the Grigri Lagoon, its mangroves and its diversity of birds.
Whether you are swimming in the cool waters of the Dudu Lakes, flying over these lakes on a zip line or exploring the Taïna cave and contemplating the stalactites and stalagmites, you will have something to keep you busy during this free time.
Once you have decided, you will meet your guide to go for lunch in Playa Preciosa… A white sandy beach where we have prepared a seafood meal for you that you will enjoy! (*the lobster will be replaced by other seafood during the breeding season from March to June)
At the end of the day your guide will accompany you to your hotel in Cabarete.

DAY 14 – ACTIVITY OF YOUR CHOICE IN CABARETE
This morning, you have the option to choose your activity (Surfing, horse riding or paddle ride on the Yasica River (tell us your preference when booking)
In the afternoon, departure for Las Terrenas, a town located 2h30 drive, in the Samana peninsula.
You can take advantage of the end of the day to walk around the city or walk in the sand of the long beautiful beaches of Las Terrenas.
The evening meal is included by us in your new accommodation.
DAY 15 – LOS HAITISES NATIONAL PARK
Departure around 8am from your hotel to Sanchez, where you will take place on a motorized boat to discover the largest national park in the Dominican Republic!
You will discover breathtaking landscapes, abundant fauna and flora and caves testifying to the passage of the first inhabitants the Tainos.
After a morning full of discovery you will be driven to a small local restaurant, before taking the road to Las Terrenas, where your driver will be waiting for you to continue your road to Las Galeras!

DAY 16 – PLAYA ERMITANO
You will embark in the morning on a catamaran, for 45 minutes of crossing to Playa Ermitano … A small desert island, crystal clear waters… Paradise on Earth!
You can enjoy the place doing snorkeling while the crew prepares your lunch!
After lunch, head to a small cove called Puerto Escondido (hidden port)… You will spend the afternoon there. Diving, swimming, snorkeling or aperitif… We will adapt to your pace!
Return to your hotel in the late afternoon

DAY 17 – PLAYA RINCON
Full day in a comfortable buggy to discover the lush landscapes of the north coast of the Dominican Republic…
You will cross Dominican villages, plantations of all kinds (banana, coffee, pineapple …), discover a working marble mine of Las Galeras and the famous Boca del Diablo (the mouth of the devil). In these huge rock formations, visitors climb to see the landscape, but also observe the natural phenomenon in which salt water and steam produce a deafening sound!
After the grill meal and the swimming time at Playa Rincon, you will go to the turquoise river of Rincon Beach where you can cool off for a moment!
During the afternoon, you will meet a local producer who will make you discover the flavors of his country!
At the end of the day, you will go back to your accommodation.
