This private tour is a perfect option to discover the most beautiful beaches and rivers of the Dominican Republic!
Your program will take place in the four corners of the country: from Bayahibe, through Barahona, Punta Rucia and the region of las Terrenas / Las Galeras.
This tour is offered over a minimum period of 14 days between JANUARY AND JUNE!

The example tour below is offered over a period of 18 days but is completely adjustable to a shorter period of stay.
DAY 1 – ARRIVAL AT YOUR AIRPORT
Upon arrival, your driver will take you to your accommodation located in the Bayahibe/Dominicus area, where you will meet your representative on site.
Dinner on site depending on the arrival time of the flight.
DAY 2 – RELAXATION DAY IN BAYAHIBE
Enjoy your 1st day in the village of Bayahibe.
You can decide to enjoy the swimming pool of your residence or the beach located 5 minutes walk from your hotel, snorkeling…
All the meals of the day are organized for you!
DAY 3 – DAY ABOARD A LUXURY SAILBOAT
Take a seat aboard this comfortable catamaran, heading for Saona Island IN A SMALL GROUP!
We’ll start sailing towards Catuano, where we’ll enjoy with your guide, a moment of snorkeling and admire all the tropical fish in the area!
Then go to Saona beach, a privatized place, far from the tourist crowds.
Lunch planned on the boat while sailing to the natural pool “Las Palmillas”, a magical place, in the middle of the Caribbean Sea where you can discover the starfish !
Full day excursion from 9 am to 5 pm / meals and drinks included.

SMALL GROUP TOUR
DAY 4 – DAY TO DISCOVER THE SUGAR CANE FIELDS
Depending on availability during your stay, take a seat aboard your buggies or a safari truck, to discover the hinterland and its sugar cane fields.
On this full-day outing you will meet the locals, learn the history of the cane and you will have the opportunity to discover the famous Chavon River, very well known thanks to the many films that have been shot there!
* All meals of your day are taken into account for the entire day.
SMALL GROUP TOUR
DAY 5 – DAY IN CATALINA IN A SMALL GROUP
Take a seat aboard our comfortable catamaran, heading for Catalina Island, IN A SMALL GROUP !
You will start sailing towards “The Wall”, where you can enjoy with your guide, a Snorkeling moment and admire all the tropical fish of the area and the coral reefs!
Then head to the “Aquarium” of Catalina where a 2nd snorkeling session awaits you.
Lunch planned on the boat before a moment of free time: you can decide to access the beach, or go swimming again or relax on the boat.
Around 2 pm, leave Catalina Island to sail near “La Romana” area where your guide will give you all the necessary information and end the day with a guaranteed change of scenery: navigation on the Chavon River, famous for the films that have been shot.
Full day excursion from 9 am to 5 pm / meals and drinks included.

DAY 6 – SANTO DOMINGO
Departure after your breakfast, head to the Barcelo rum factory, where the manufacturing process and the history of rum will be explained to you!
Then leave for the capital: here many visits will be proposed by your English-speaking guide: cave of the national park 3 Ojos, colonial zone … You will discover all the history of the Dominican Republic!
The typical lunch will be served in a restaurant in the colonial zone.
After the meal, you will be offered free time in the shopping area of Santo Domingo.
In the middle of the afternoon, you will meet your private driver who will take you to Bahia de las Aguilas, you will take a seat in your new accommodation, comfortable chalet by the beach!

SMALL GROUP TOUR
DAY 7 – BAHIA DE LAS AGUILAS BEACH
Relaxing morning to enjoy the beautiful beach of Bahia de las Aguilas!
Around 10am you will leave by boat in the bays of Bahia de Las Aguilas, a huge beach of turquoise blue water, where you will be installed your buffet, umbrella and sun lounger.
You can enjoy these calm waters to snorkel, we put at your disposal the necessary equipment (fins / mask and snorkel)
In the late afternoon return to your accommodation.

DAY 8 – RELAXING DAY AT BAHIA DE LAS AGUILAS
Today, enjoy the beach at your Eco Lodge hotel…
You can decide to snorkel, rest on the beach or opt for water activities offered by the establishment (additional cost to be expected).
All your meals are included.
DAY 9 – LAGO OVIEDO – PRIVATE TOUR
After your breakfast, set off to discover the largest lagoon in the country “Lago Oviedo”, with a salt water level three times higher than that of the sea! This lagoon is made up of 24 small islets that are home to various animal species. Your captain will first stop at Iguana Island, where you’ll get off to take some pictures with these large lizards and where you can give them some fruits that they love !
Embark again on your small boat to discover all the birds present in the lagoon: herons, egrets, pelicans… but especially the famous flamingos, only present in the country from January to June!
After your walk of nearly 3 hours, you will have lunch in the national park… a fish-based menu.
In the early afternoon, your driver will take you to your new 3* accommodation located in Barahona.
Take a seat in your superior room, with a sea view.
Dinner included in the hotel restaurant.
DAY 10 – BARAHONA – PRIVATE TOUR
After your breakfast, you will be picked up by your local guide, to discover the wonders of the area.
Start with a freshwaters pool in the area, a magical place offers many natural pools and waterfalls, fed by the San Rafael River, where you can cool off.
After lunch, we’ll set off to explore Los Patos, another seaside place, between the river and the sea.
Your driver will take you from us to your accommodation from 4pm.
Dinner included in the hotel restaurant.
DAY 11 – DEPARTURE TO PUERTO PLATA
After your breakfast, we’ll drive to Puerto Plata, a colorful city full of history.
You will take a seat in your 4* all-inclusive accommodation.
Enjoy your establishment, entertainment, swimming pool, beaches and buffets.
DAY 12 – PRIVATE DAY IN CAYO ARENA AND PUNTA RUCIA
After your breakfast, your driver will take you 5 minutes from your accommodation to Punta Rucia where you will board your speed boat to Cayo Arena …
A paradise on earth, perched on a reef, that you will have time to explore during your snorkeling session with your guide (we ensure the loan of equipment)
Snorkeling, sunbathing, swimming… Your rhythm will be ours!
Once finished, you will board your boat again to discover the mangroves of the area…
On the way back to Punta Rucia, a lobster lunch will be served… (*During the annual breeding season the lobster will be replaced by other seafood)
After your meal you can enjoy the beach until late afternoon…
At the end of the afternoon, you will hit the road again towards Puerto Plata.
Dinner provided in your all-inclusive hotel.
DAY 13 – RELAXING DAY AT YOUR ALL-INCLUSIVE HOTEL
Last day of relaxation in your all-inclusive hotel.
Enjoy the entertainment, the beach or any of the activities offered by the establishment.
