GROUP TOUR – AUGUST 2023
This GROUP tour of maximum 10 people is ideal for people wishing to discover both the most beautiful beaches but also know the history of the country by visiting the main cities and the hinterland.
This tour of the country includes travel by comfortable and air-conditioned van taxi with driver + your Tropical Evasion guide, luxury accommodation, meals and daily trips.
This tour will be offered only for 10 people maximum to offer a quality of service and create an atmosphere of conviviality!
DAY 1 – ARRIVAL AT SANTO DOMINGO AIRPORT
Upon arrival, your driver will take you to your accommodation located in the Bayahibe/Dominicus area.
Welcome dinner organized by us, feet in the sand!
DAY 2 – SAFARI DAY IN THE HINTERLAND
Breakfast before excursion organized by us.
Departure at 9am aboard a Safari truck, towards the sugar cane fields, accompanied by your English-speaking guide, who will explain everything about the history of sugar cane and take you to the depths of the Dominican Republic, in a village of cane cutters … Here you will meet the locals, the children…
Continuation of the adventure to the discovery of an artisanal cigar factory, where you will discover the local know-how and will of course be able to test the quality of the products!
Then head towards Higuey where you will visit the local market…
After this busy morning, it will be time to go for lunch in a typical Dominican restaurant! On the menu, cassava, shrimp, plantains, rice…
To end the day, you will board a boat to sail on the Chavon River… the more adventurous can enjoy a stop to throw themselves at Tarzan’s vine!
Full day excursion from 9am to 5pm / meals and drinks included.

DAY 3 – DAY ABOARD A LUXURY SAILBOAT – CATALINA ISLAND
Take a seat aboard this comfortable catamaran, heading for Catalina Island.
Arrival scheduled around 10am at the Snorkeling site “The Wall” to admire the richness of the corals. On the other side of the island, the area called “the Aquarium”, where again you can admire the underwater fauna and flora and will be our anchor point for a few hours.
After the meal served on board, you can decide to return either to snorkel to appreciate the diversity of fish or access Catalina beach for a relaxing break.
Around 2:30 pm, it will be time to leave this island and its turquoise waters to return to Bayahibe.
We will continue our navigation along the coast of La Romana and Casa de Campo, this famous hotel and residential complex.
At the end of the day total change of scenery: we will sail on the Chavon River, famous for its green landscapes that have attracted many film producers.

DAY 4 – DEPARTURE FROM SANTO DOMINGO
After your breakfast organized by us, you will leave for the Barcelo rum factory, where the manufacturing process and the history of rum will be explained to you!
Then leave for the capital: here many visits will be proposed by your English-speaking guide: cave of the 3 Ojos National Park, colonial zone … You will discover all the history of the Dominican Republic!
The typical lunch will be served in a restaurant in the colonial place.
After the meal, free time will be offered in the shopping area of Santo Domingo.
Around 4pm, your driver will take you to your beautiful hotel in the colonial zone.

DAY 5 – DEPARTURE FOR PUNTA RUCIA
Departure after your breakfast for 3 hours drive for half day zip lines and dive into the fresh water waterfalls of Damajagua.
You will meet your local guide who will give you all the explanations as well as the necessary equipment and leave for about thirty minutes of walking through the lush forest that surrounds the waterfalls!
You will start with the zip line, in all 5 lines, floating bridges and lots of fun!
Once the zip line course is over, you will start your descent through the 7 waterfalls… Jumps, dives, natural slides… You will enjoy this incredible place created by nature…
When you return, you will have deserved a good lunch… In the restaurant, a typical Dominican buffet will be served…
In the middle of the afternoon, it will be time to hit the road to reach your beautiful accommodation, cottages by the beach!

DAY 6 – PRIVATE DAY IN CAYO ARENA AND PUNTA RUCIA
After your breakfast, your driver will take you to your boat to Cayo Arena…
A paradise on earth, perched on a reef, which you will have time to explore during your snorkeling session with your guide.
Snorkeling, sunbathing, swimming… Your rhythm will be ours!
Once finished, you will board your boat again to discover the mangroves of the area…
On the way back to Punta Rucia, a lobster lunch will be served…
After your meal you can enjoy the beach until late afternoon…
In the evening your driver will take you to your cottage by the beach.

DAY 7 – DEPARTURE PUERTO PLATA
In the middle of the day, after a morning enjoying the beach of Punta Rucia accessible from your bungalow, you will take the road to Puerto Plata, one of the main cities of the Dominican Republic.
Here you will reach your all-inclusive hotel for a relaxing afternoon!
DAY 8 – VISIT OF PUERTO PLATA
Today appointment with our local guide for the visit of the city of Puerto Plata which is located near the most important amber deposits, you will not fail to start your visit with the famous Amber Museum of the city.
Then go on a tour of the colonial zone and important places in the city…
After your lunch, you will board the cable car to the top of Mount Isabel which rises to 800 meters above sea level.
In the late afternoon, your driver will accompany you to your all-inclusive hotel.
DAY 9 – SEASIDES EXPERIENCE
Leave your hotel in the Puerto Plata area at 8am for your last accommodation in Cabarete, a beautiful accommodation surrounded by nature consisting of individual bungalows.
You will go directly for a day to discover the seaside and beautiful beaches of the North Coast.
Start the day with the Rio San Juan where you will join your motorboat to discover the Grigri lagoon, its mangroves and its diversity of birds.
Your captain will then take you for a swim at the natural pool.
Then join your driver, direction the Dudu lagoon, where you will enjoy the various facilities: visit of the Taïna cave, zip line, swimming in the cool waters of the Dudu lagoon …
Last stop, Playa Preciosa where your seafood lunch will await you feet in the water!
Back at the end of the day in your bungalows …
